We're getting married!

Fittingly, Emma and Matt met while Emma was sat on a horse, and Matt up a ladder fixing something for the barn. Matt and Emma shared a brief exchange, with Matt trying to think up something to say to the cute girl on the horse, and Emma thinking the guy on the ladder was handsome in coveralls (as much as anyone can be). Almost 6 months after this encounter, Matt and Emma were set up by a close friend (shoutout Michelle!!! <3) at a house party. Emma and Matt bonded quickly over a love of travel and adventure, and despite the eight hours between their cities, were determined to make it work. After two years of long drives and facetime calls, Matt was able to find work as a paramedic in southern Ontario where the two continued to build their lives together. Two dogs, a house, and a couple of nursing degrees later, Matt proposed to Emma in Naples, Florida on the 11th of May, 2024. They are both so excited to share this special time with you, and for all the adventures ahead.
