What does black tie optional mean?

Answer

Men can opt for a tuxedo with a black bow tie or a formal suit with a tie. Women can choose between a formal gown or a cocktail dress.

Although we love your children, we’ve elected to limit our ceremony and reception to adults only. However, please reach out if this causes any complications with your travel.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttle pickup for guests from the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville. A shuttle will also run one hour prior to the end of the reception to take any guests back who wish to leave then. Shuttles will also take guests back to the hotel at the end of the reception. Shuttles will begin loading at 4:30 PM and leave as they fill up. There should be plenty of space for everyone. The shuttles will pick up in the pull off at the Hyatt Regency on the street Beattie Place.

What time will the shuttle leave?

The shuttles will start loading at 4:30 PM and leave as they fill up. Hotel check in is listed as 4:00 PM, so consider calling to see if you can get an early check in if you need time to get ready.

How long is the shuttle ride?

Answer

The venue is roughly 11 miles from the shuttle pickup point. Depending on traffic, it will be about a 20 minute ride. However, they recently closed the bridge for construction so this time may be a little longer than normal. We have added in some cushion for this to make sure the shuttles arrive at the venue in time for the ceremony.
