Years ago, two people joined an online game. They played and told stories together which blossomed into a friendship. They lived miles away but the distance couldn't keep them apart. Julie lived in Georgia. Mikey lived in Maryland. They chatted online and spoke on the phone but longed to meet face to face. The opportunity to meet came when Julie had a trip to DC with her mother. That February, Mikey and Julie finally met for the first time. Not long after, something big happened in Julie's life that would change things forever. Mikey was by her side to support Julie during this difficult time. It was then Julie decided to move across the country to be with Mikey. He welcomed her with open arms and it was then they started their journey through life together as partners.

Mikey and Julie were taking a big step in life: buying a house. As stressful as buying a house is, their relationship only grew closer and stronger. They were home alone, packing up their belongings, when it happened. It was sudden but it was perfect. In typical Mikey fashion, he pulled out an engagement ring and said "so...you wanna?" Julie was shocked. She asked him if he was serious. Mikey said he was. Mikey then got down on one knee - Julie's only requirement aside from a ring- and while holding Julie's hands firmly in his, asked again. Full of emotion, Julie said yes.
