Chase and Morgan’s relationship started when he saw a cute girl dancing to live music at a frozen yogurt place. Having not known each other before, the initial stage of reaching out was a bit awkward, but he was able to convince her to give him a shot. Through the remaining year and a half of high school they spent every moment they could with each other, talked on late night facetime calls (which definitely weren’t allowed by his dad), and began to fall in love. They both decided to attend UGA and their relationship truly took off from there.

During their sophomore year at UGA, a puppy named River came into their lives. After failing as foster parents, they decided to adopt him and he became what Morgan refers to as “our child”. For their last two years at school the two only lived three houses down from each other, allowing their relationship to grow beyond what it already was and gave them a feeling of what the future would be like.

A week after graduating from Georgia, the two and their group of friends went to Chase’s house on Fripp Island. This place was special to both of them as they had been going on family vacations to Fripp since they were kids, although they just didn’t know it. Over the five and a half years they had been together up to that point, they had been on numerous trips to Fripp together and created amazing memories with friends and families. Chase set up a fake dinner on May 15th and had Morgan dress up. He asked her to go on a golf cart ride and walk before to spend some quality time together after partying all week as college graduates. He walked her out onto some sand dunes (which was not an easy walk to make), got down on one knee, and asked Morgan to spend the rest of her life with him. It was a moment neither of them will ever forget.
