We’re getting married!

We met on the Facebook Dating app (insert gasp!) Their first date was at a park in Blaine. Michael was smitten right away and Kelly thought this might not be too bad as a trial run in the dating world again! And here we are getting married!!! Michael had purchased the engagement ring in November. He talked to Cole & Sophia to be sure it was okay to ask their mom to marry him, then his kids. He also talked to Kelly’s friends, Mams, & DJ… but Kelly didn’t find out until February 18th when he proposed. We took a day trip to Duluth since Michael had never been before. Our first stop was Split Rock Lighthouse. It was snowing beautifully and Michael became very sentimental. He bent down on one knee and proposed. Onlookers took pictures and congratulated us. It was really a Hallmark movie moment.
