Mae-Mae and Crystal have been best friends since elementary school. From playground adventures and sleepovers to celebrating life’s biggest milestones, their friendship has grown stronger with every passing year. She has always been someone Crystal can count on, whether it’s for laughter, honest advice, or unwavering support. Through every stage of life, Mae-Mae has been right by the Crystal’s side, making countless memories along the way. As Matron of Honor, Mae-Mae holds a special place in the Crystal’s heart, and there’s no one more perfect to stand beside her on such an important day.
Cameron Johnson
Best Man
Cameron is Christian’s younger brother. Though they were born nine years apart, the two became much closer when Cameron came to NC State in Raleigh and they became roommates. What began as brotherhood grew into a true friendship built on loyalty, laughter, and always showing up for each other through every season of life. From late-night conversations to unexpected 1 a.m. phone calls about NBA trades, Cameron has been one of Christian’s constants. Christian is honored to have his younger brother standing beside him as his best man on this day.
Lacey Wilkinson
Bridesmaid
Crystal and Lacey have been best friends since high school. What started as a high school friendship quickly grew into a lasting bond that has carried through the years. She has been there through many of life’s milestones, always bringing encouragement, fun, and a supportive spirit wherever she goes. Crystal is so grateful for the many memories they’ve shared and the many more still to come. Having Lacey stand beside Crystal as a bridesmaid means so much, and Crystal couldn’t imagine celebrating this special day without her.
Seve Hoekstra
Groomsman
Seve Hoekstra met Christian at NC State in grad school, and their friendship started the way many good ones do: after the whole class bombed a test and ended up at a sports bar on Hillsborough Street. Over time, the two became close through classes, intramural basketball, weightlifting, shared meals, and the kind of conversations reserved for real friends. Seve has been there for Christian through a lot, including giving him a place to stay when he was between leases, and he has always been someone Christian could count on. He and Christian are also complete opposites in sports loyalty, with Christian backing Ohio State and Duke while Seve supports the Michigan and UNC side of things. Somehow, the friendship has survived. Christian is incredibly grateful to have Seve standing beside him on this day
LaTroya Scott
Bridesmaid
Crystal met LaTroya during veterinary school, where long days of studying, clinical rotations, and a shared love for animals quickly turned into a meaningful friendship. From navigating the challenges of vet school together to celebrating accomplishments along the way, their bond grew through countless memories and plenty of laughs. LaTroya has been a supportive friend through it all, always bringing positivity, encouragement, and a great sense of humor. Crystal is so grateful for the friendship they built during such an important chapter of life and is honored to have LaTroya standing by her side as a bridesmaid on this special day.
Robert Valderrama
Groomsman
Robert Valderrama has been one of Christian’s closest friends since freshman year of high school, when Christian helped him onto the bus heading home and the two realized they were actually neighbors. From there, a lifelong friendship was built on plenty of juvenile adventures, shared experiences, and the kind of memories that only come from growing up side by side. Rob has always been outgoing, easy to like, and the kind of person who makes just about everyone feel like a friend. It has been a privilege for Christian not only to grow up alongside him, but also to watch him become a husband and a devoted father. Christian is honored to have Rob standing beside him on this day.

Crystal met Kim while attending veterinary school at Tuskegee University. Sharing the unique experience of veterinary school brought them close, and their bond continued to grow through the many challenges and celebrations along the way. Kim has been a supportive and caring friend, always bringing encouragement, laughter, and positivity. Crystal is so grateful for the friendship they built during their time at Tuskegee and is honored to have Kim standing by her side as a bridesmaid on such a special day.

PJ is Crystal’s younger brother and is honored to be part of the wedding as a groomsman. He has always shared a special sibling bond with Crystal, filled with laughter, support, and plenty of memorable moments growing up together. Crystal is proud of the person PJ has become and is so happy to have her brother play such an important role on this special day. It means so much to have him standing with the wedding party as they celebrate this exciting new chapter.
Leah Cain

Leah is Crystal’s younger sister and is honored to be a Junior Bridesmaid in the wedding. At 11 years old, Leah brings lots of energy, joy, and excitement to the celebration. Crystal loves being a big sister to Leah and cherishes the special bond they share. Leah is sweet, fun, and always able to bring a smile to Crystal’s face. Crystal is so happy to have her little sister standing by her side on such an important day.
Frederick Morgan

Frederick may be small, but his role is a big one! He brings plenty of personality, charm, and energy to the wedding party. As the son of Mae-Mae (The Matron of Honor), he holds a special place in the bride’s heart and adds even more meaning to the day. We’re so happy to have Frederick as part of our celebration
