Michael and Alexis’ relationship actually started online. Mike messaged her first, “hey”, at that time – he could see if she had read it or not – she had read it, and he immediately sent another message, “what’s up?” After that, Alexis finally gave him the benefit of the doubt and responded. From there, they exchanged texts and after 5 days, they went on a date. It’s easy for people to assume that when you go on a first date, you ask the person you’re with personal questions about life and things they enjoy, etc. Alexis decided not to talk about herself and decided to introduce someone extremely important to her, her sister, Morgan. She quickly explained to Mike that he had to get Morgan’s approval or it wasn’t going to work out. January 1, 2016 – Mike was put to the test. After a series of questions, some flirtatious banter, and some prime rib – Morgan finally gave Mike the stamp of approval! Four years’ worth of memories later, they have traveled to Disney World, found the same love for the Cleveland Indians, and have gotten to love on their fur baby, Oakley, in the comfort of their first home! Spending time with friends and family is one of their favorite things to do together, so its fitting Mike planned a proposal that included everybody. August 3, 2019 was the day he finally asked Alexis to be his forever best friend, his wife – her response? “About damn time!” Alexis & Michael are so overjoyed to share their day with their loved ones.
