We met at line in Walgreens in our college town of San Marcos, and didn't think much of it. It wasn't until two years later when our lives crossed paths again and we thought "Okay. This could be something." :-)

We took a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Eric's 25th Birthday and Paige's first year of Physical Therapy School being completed. After a day filled with exploring - standing on the top of the Paris Eiffel Tower, and a Gondola Ride in Venice - we picked up a rental car Eric arranged for. It was a Mercedes convertible we rode along the Strip and to Red Rock Canyon 30 miles outside of town. Here we planned to do the 13 mile loop through the park with the top down and our hair in the wind. We stopped at an overlook and Paige set up her tripod for a few pictures of the incredible view. After about 5 photos, Eric got down on one knee and popped the question! He arranged quite the surprise with a professional photographer capturing the moment as well as great pics after. We celebrated at the romantic Hugo Cellar's Restaurant, the Vegas favorite of Paige's late grandfather Ted. Here a waiter named Teddy helped serve us, this sweet coincidence let us know Pops approved ♡ ;-)
