Can I bring a guest? Are children invited?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. We appreciate your understanding. While we love kids, we’ve decided to have an adults-only celebration.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There is a hotel block available at The Royal Sonesta in Downtown Chicago. A link with discounted event rates is on the travel tab. Please make a reservation through this link or mention Johns/Knutson wedding block to receive the discounted rate when making a reservation.

What should I wear if the dress code is formal?

Answer

Ryan and I will be dressing up for our wedding! We would love if our guests would dress up with us! Tuxes and evening gowns are welcomed but we ask ladies wear long dresses and gentlemen wear a suit.

Please RSVP by August 1st on the indicated tab at the top of the website!

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will ONLY be provided at the end of the night for all guests. No transportation will be provided between ceremony and reception.

What time should I arrive? Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Family located at 1334 W Flournoy St. The ceremony begins at 2pm. Please arrive by 1:45pm to take your seats. Reception will follow ceremony at St. Ignatius College Prep beginning with cocktail hour at 4:30pm.

Is parking available at the church and at the reception?

Both church and venue having free parking lots available.

What is on the menu? How do I tell you about dietary restrictions?

Answer

Meal selections can be made when you RSVP. Any dietary restrictions can be included when RSVPing for our event.
