We met as young teens entering high school. My friend was dating one of his friends at the time and I tagged along to the skating rink to meet her boyfriend's friends. Once I saw Brendan for the first time, I knew I wanted to call him mine. By the end of the night, we had started dating....It didn't work out. I broke up with him after a few months and we stayed friends throughout most of high school. At the end of senior year, we started hanging out and seeing each other more. After a few months, we started dating again. I was nervous for our relationship because I was about to move to Texas for college and I didn't know if I could do long distance. On our grad night at Six Flags, he assured me that no matter the distance, he wanted to be with me. From then on, I knew that he was the one for me.
