First of all, our wedding details: We will be getting married with a very small ceremony in Italy in September 2024... but celebrating with a reception for our friends and family in Summer 2025 in Asheville, NC! Invites for our reception coming soon. In the "Registry" tab of our website you will find several fun gift lists we have set up, if you feel inclined! Most of you know the very cute details of our love story: we met through Rob's dog, Nugget. Lauren's neighbor Aria, a friend of Rob's, was Nugget's dog sitter for many months. Aria invited Lauren to hang out with her and Nugget a few times, and eventually Lauren and Nugget became very close friends. Lauren and Nugget went on ice cream dates and walks and hung out often when Aria was watching her. One weekend, Rob needed dog sitting but Aria wasn't available, so she gave Rob Lauren's number, thinking Lauren would be happy to help. It was on August 20, 2022 that Rob dropped Nugget off at Lauren's apartment for the weekend, and that's when they first met. They talked and got to know each other, Rob developed a massive crush, and when he returned to get Nugget after that weekend he asked Lauren if she'd like to go on a walk with Nugget. They did, and pretty soon Lauren too developed a massive crush on Rob, and the rest is history. They went on many subsequent dog walks, dates, road trips, hikes and other adventures together. In March of 2024 they were engaged, and are so looking forward to celebrating their wedding in Summer 2025!
