Each of you is our wedding party.
We know, you weren't expecting this, but we couldn't choose and didn't want to, so we picked all of you!
What are your duties? You have none, just show up and get ready to have a bangin' time.
Do you do anything other than show up? Well you can, but you don't have to.
Don't have to do what?  Well, as independent amazing human beings who mean the world to us, you don't have to do anything you don't want to . However, in this context we are referring to wearing our wedding colors, which are above.
You do not (with the exception of a few of you, you know who you are) need to get my approval for what to wear. 
The dress code is cocktail attire.
