Like most people in the current dating age, we discovered each others' existence through the magic of a dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel. Johnny, being a young, naive chap in 2019, thankfully swiped right on his phone in the Austin, Texas airport while travelling for podiatry externships. He never thought that this seemingly simple encounter would turn into a beautiful relationship. Despite a happy graduation from podiatry school, he would have to endure 3 years of long distance relationship in the land of coffee and bagels (New York) for residency. For Teresa, this came as a sudden shock likened to dunking her head into ice water. But thanks to Johnny's effusive and unrelenting charm she decided to take the plunge. She gracefully tolerated Johnny's foolishness and loneliness and finished her fashion studies, leading to excelling at her job with B.B. Dakota. Thankfully after residency Johnny was able to find a job that would take on a broke resident and this allowed the couple to finally be together. Life went on, and thanks to the generosity of their families (and also the pandemic) they were able to pursue their first house in Irvine. Now with steady jobs and routine, they are finally able to celebrate their love and union. Finally, after 8 years of knowing each other, they finally decided to tie the knot! They are excited to have their closest family and friends all in one place.
