FAQs

Question

Where is the ceremony / reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be at The Moshulu. Their address is: 401 S Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19106 Phone: (215) 923-2500 Website: moshulu.com

Question

Does the Moshulu travel?

Answer

No it is docked. Moshulu (ex Kurt) is a four-masted steel barque built by William Hamilton and Company on the River Clyde in Scotland in 1904. The largest remaining original windjammer, she is currently a floating restaurant docked in Penn's Landing, Philadelphia, adjacent to the museum ships USS Olympia and USS Becuna.

Question

What time should we be there?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 5:30pm. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15 minutes ahead of time to get settled.

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

We want you to enjoy our wedding so we strongly suggest you use a rideshare app (Lyft/Uber). If you choose to drive yourself, there is a pay to park lot across the street.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal

Question

Any other special attire notes we should know?

Answer

Temperatures in February can be unpredictable. We will be married on the Moshulu's deck, however there will also be heaters to help keep guests warm.

For all the days along the way
