Difficult to believe 6 years have passed since Lauren and Johnny met at Texas Christian University! Lauren, a sophomore transfer into TCU, and Johnny, a junior baseball transfer into TCU, first met in the fall of 2017 in religion class. Johnny was too nervous to approach Lauren and study with the class group at first but when he saw her at the TCU bookstore with her dog, Rocky, it seemed easy for him to introduce himself and soon afterward a couple in love. A few of Lauren and Johnny’s favorite memories together: TCU memories, Oklahoma City Brick Town Big 12 Tournament, Summer baseball league in Maine, rainy days in Boston, exploring the city of Charleston, Siesta Key, FL beach, and many more road trips. There was lots of time spent at the baseball fields for games, and that made it all more fun! Johnny proposed to Lauren in January of 2022 right before he left for the Baltimore Orioles spring training. He took her up to the Crescent Club Court, where the windows overlooked the Dallas skyline and her office location, he got down on one knee and expressed wanting to spend forever with Lauren. It was such a surprise to Lauren and the perfect day with her family surrounding them with love and excitement. We are so excited for you to join us as we say "I do" at Baha Mar Nassau, Bahamas in October of 2023 !
