When should I RSVP?

Thank you to everyone who RSVP'd! Our guest list is now closed as we finalize plans in Annapolis.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

We have carefully planned our special day around celebrating with our closest friends and family. Additionally, we have invited the maximum number of guests our reception venue can comfortably accommodate. At this time, we are not extending invitations to additional guests who are not listed on your invitation envelope. We appreciate your understanding on this matter - if you have questions, please reach out!

How do I get to the USNA Chapel for the ceremony?

Answer

As indicated on your RSVP card, we are providing a complimentary shuttle from The Graduate Annapolis to the front doors of the USNA Chapel. You may also walk onto USNA via the Pedestrian Entrance at Gate 1 located at 18 Randall Street Annapolis MD 21401. Please note, guests are not permitted to drive onto USNA in their personal vehicles. If you have a handicapped placard, please reach out to Julia (610-304-9653) or Johnny (484-667-6236) and we will arrange for you to be able to drive onto USNA in your personal vehicle. Please have your REAL ID compliant ID with you to clear security at USNA.

What time should I catch the shuttle for the ceremony?

Answer

The complimentary shuttle from The Graduate Annapolis to the USNA Chapel will be at the entrance of The Graduate at 12pm on wedding day. The first shuttle will depart The Graduate for USNA at 12:15pm, and the second shuttle will depart at 12:30pm.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony if I am walking to the Chapel?

Answer

If you skip the shuttle and walk onto USNA, please note that guests are not able to enter the Chapel for seating until 12:40pm. If you walk onto the yard early, guests are encouraged to visit the USNA Museum to the right of the Chapel, or wait in Dahlgren Hall located to the left of the Chapel.

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage any guests who will NOT have a REAL ID driver's license at the time of our wedding to use the complimentary shuttle from The Graduate Annapolis to USNA instead of walking. Should you choose to park your car in downtown Annapolis and walk onto USNA, here are some of the parking options: Annapolis City Dock (116 Dock St. Annapolis, MD) - This would be the closest paid parking area to the Naval Academy Yard. The Commodore Barry Gate located at 109 Prince George Street Annapolis, MD is the best way to access USNA from this parking area. Max parking time at City Dock is 2 hours and you cannot re-feed your meter so if you plan to get a drink or walk around downtown after the ceremony, I'd park in the Hillman Garage. Hillman Garage (150 Gorman St. Annapolis, MD) - Parking garage on the main street of shops and bars in DTA. You can use a kiosk or the ParkMobile App to pay. This will add a few minutes to walk to the Yard but you can leave your car there as long as you'd like. We've parked our cars there for entire weekends before. The Commodore Barry Gate located at 109 Prince George Street Annapolis, MD is the best way to access USNA from this parking garage. Street Meter Parking: There is parking along King George St which leads to the USNA Gate 1 pedestrian entrance. Remember to pay your meter if you choose this option because the parking authority in DTA will ticket you for even just a few minutes over your meter time.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have a spectacular photographer who holds the special privileges and clearances to photograph inside the USNA Chapel for our wedding day. Please refrain from using your cell phones and personal cameras to take photos during our ceremony - we will gladly share all of our wedding photos with you!

Will the shuttle take me back to The Graduate?

Answer

Yes! The shuttle will be making a trip back to the Graduate from USNA following the ceremony. The Trophy Room Bar & Grill at The Graduate opens at 2pm.

What should we do for 3 hours between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please see the "Things to Do" tab on the website for a list of our fave spots in the area - or take a nap back at the hotel to get ready for dancing the night away!

The Graduate has plenty of parking in their garage! Valet parking and self parking are both available.
