After years of attending the same church without really knowing each other, we wound up on the same worship team during the height of covid. We both had the same idea to volunteer as much of our extra free time due to covid to help our community and show God’s love to His people during a difficult time. Through ministering in worship and volunteering at a local food bank together weekly a friendship was formed. This friendship flourished through long talks about our views on God, the state of our world and life in general. As our friendship grew so did our realization that we wanted to be more than just friends.

After 3 years of friendship and 9 months of dating, we got engaged!
