From the Bride: Johnny and I met when he joined my softball team. He asked me out soon after, and the rest is history. I was first impressed by his athleticism and upbeat energy. He would wack the ball across the field with such ease and run the bases like an impala. He was one of the fastest runners on the team & I was just a clumsy runner who would fall. That’s actually a great example of how we balance each other out. From the Groom: Playing baseball or co-ed softball I didn't believe in having fun, especially when it was a competition, but I saw Christina take the most brutal fall I've ever seen at home plate and she got right back up with the biggest smile and continued to play. I knew there was something special about her. Whether it came to double plays, tossing the ball around, or walking on the beach, every moment with Christina felt effortless - just like love is supposed to be. Christina's kindness, laughter, and how she lights up a room are truly special. She brings balance to my life and carries the nickname Sweets.
