We're getting Married!

We met through a mutual friend and went on our first date on July 24, 2015. We went to a Real Salt Lake soccer game. Johnny had a broken foot and Samantha wasn't convinced she would be interested. Nothing really came of it after that until Valentine's Day 2016 where that same mutual friend invited us both to dinner. After that we went on our second first date. We dated on and off for another few years, but the timing was never right. Until around Valentine's Day of 2020. We decided we needed to really see what could happen with us. Once we took that leap love blossomed quickly both of us knowing it was time to start a life together.

It all began by Johnny convincing Samantha to wake up at 2:30am on a Tuesday morning to take a 3.5 hour drive out to the Sun Tunnels in Northwestern Utah. We left early enough to get there before sunrise. We got there just in time to witness the sky explode from the darkness of early dawn to vibrant pinks and oranges. To fight off the early morning desert chill Johnny made us some hot chocolate while we snuggled under a blanket and quietly watched the beauty of the sunrise. During this quiet and beautiful moment that we had completely to ourselves, as the new day greeted us, Johnny proposed. When Samantha said "yes" our lives changed forever.
