Johnny and Julie met online, you know, the good old fashioned way. Johnny had been courting Julie for several weeks and after a while of being very patient, Julie asked, "well, are you going to ask me on a date or what?". In typical Johnny fashion, he asked Julie at 6:30pm if she wanted to go to dinner to which she replied, "are you crazy, it's 6:30pm!! You can't ask me to dinner now". You can clearly get a sense of who's the planner in the relationship. We then made plans for a proper date. As many of you know, we are both rather shy, so the first date was a little like pulling teeth, which is ironic...but as the night went on we hit it off and seemed to mesh with each other perfectly. Three years later, we could not be more excited to celebrate our special day with all of you!

Keeping with the theme of last minute planning, Johnny said he wanted to go to Greece about a month before the trip. So, naturally, Julie got to work and planned all the stops. She had a feeling that the trip might be "special". On our last day in Santorini, Johnny agreed to go on a 6 mile hike that was on Julie's "bucket list". What Julie thought would be a leisurely, paved and scenic stroll was actually a rigorous hike through dirt, rock and sand. To top it off, it was 100 degrees out. Though scenic, it was definitely not what we had in mind and Julie truly thought, "he must absolutely hate me after making him go on this hike" - (he may have). But what she didn't realize was that only someone who was absolutely head over heels for her would put up with such torture. He was willing to do anything to make her happy. Later that night, Johnny proposed with the most stunning sunset backdrop one could imagine. After happy tears, we then both agreed to never hike 6 miles at noon again.
