The BackRoom
Hidden behind the secret door in the picture, this secret beer bar is hidden at the back of a liquor store off the "main drag" in Solvang. Not only can you purchase hard to find specialty beers, you can purchase a day pass to enter their secret bar through a bookcase wall. The owners also own The Other Room in Los Olivos. Ask for Sandy and tell her we sent you.
Vaquero Bar
This little bar is off the main street that runs through Solvang. It is attached to the restaurant Coast Range (a great restaurant), but we often like finding a seat at the bar and chatting it up with the bartenders. The bartenders Gaby, Kelly and Sweetcheeks (Victor) are amazing! You can order food from the restaurant as you sit at the bar. Great spot in Solvang!
Cold Spring Tavern
This is a historic Stagecoach stop turned into a restaurant. It is well known for their tri tip sandwiches, but all their food is great. A really cool place to grab lunch or dinner. It does get very busy and they don't take reservations so we would suggest getting their before they open for lunch so that you don't have to wait as long. Definitely a cool place to check out in the area!
Osteria Grappolo
This is a great Italian restaurant in Solvang if you're looking for a good place for lunch or dinner.
Los Olivos
We love walking around this little town! Not far from Buellton, it has great wine shops and breweries. Check out The Other Room for specialty, hard to find beers on tap with an old school Mrs. Pac Man game to play while you drink. If Sandy is there, tell her we sent you.
Ostrichland USA
Never been (ostriches kinda freak me out lol), but it's always really popular when we drive by.
Highline Adventures
We've never done a tour here, but looks like a good time! They have ziplines and adventures courses you can take part in.
