Beach Haven is a 2-hour drive from Northern, NJ, ~3-hours from Long Island, 2-hours from NYC, and 90 minutes from Philadelphia. If you are coming from NYC - there is a non-stop bus that picks up in midtown Manhattan (9th Ave & 42nd St) and takes you directly to Beach Haven. Tickets can be purchased here: https://booking.transportazumah.com/ Pickup: New York NY: 9 Avenue – 42 Street Drop Off: Beach Haven (Town Hall) For those flying in, the closest airports are Newark, Philadelphia, and Atlantic City. Newark and Philadelphia are the larger hubs (about a 90-minute drive), while Atlantic City is a smaller option about an hour from Beach Haven.
Yes, we have a room block at the Engleside Inn (call the hotel to book) and the Spray Beach Hotel (book using our code LFWW). Other hotels on the island will open their rooms in January 2026. Please see our travel page for a list of other hotels or reach out to Nicole or John if you need assistance!
The dress code for our wedding reception is Black Tie. We’d love for women to wear floor-length gowns or formal dresses - color welcomed and encouraged! For the gentlemen, please wear a dark suit and tie or tuxedo. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone looking their best!
There will be transportation from the Spray Beach Hotel to Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club and from the Engleside Inn to Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club (the Shell, Engleside, Coral Seas and Winward Hotel are all next to each other and will share transportation).
Yes! For the ceremony - a small lot is available at St. Thomas, plus surrounding street parking. For the reception - valet parking will be provided at Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club. Please note, if you plan on driving enter via Ocean Street (address for GPS: 336 Ocean St, Beach Haven, NJ 08008). For the post-wedding brunch - there is street parking on Holyoke Ave as well as the surrounding blocks but if you want to be a true Beach Haven local we recommend riding your bike or walking!
The best way to get around Beach Haven is by bike! The town is super bike-friendly, with dedicated bike lanes and short distances between restaurants, shops, and the beach. You can rent bikes at AJ’s, The Boardwalk, or Faria’s. Another great option is the LBI Shuttle — a free, hop-on-hop-off service that runs along the Boulevard and can take you anywhere on the island.
