No, we are actually getting married on a Monday! Our venue is a week long rental that can only be rented in Saturday-Saturday increments in the summer so a weekend date wasn’t possible.
We are planning this celebration as an invite only event. All guests will be listed specifically on your invitation when it arrives in the mail a few months out from August 31st.
Our wedding will have a cocktail attire dress code. Gentlemen: please wear a suit or dress shirt and pants. Ladies: knee length, midi and tea length dresses or a dressy jumpsuit are all great options. Heels or flats will be suitable as no part of this event will be on the beach, lawn or any other soft ground! Heat concerns: the ceremony and cocktail hour will be inside during the warmest parts of the day and then we will move outside at night for the reception. Color: We recommend blues, yellows, greens, light pinks and suggest staying away from red. Florals are always a lovely choice. Think light/beachy and don’t be afraid to have fun with your outfit! We’re currently putting together the schedule for wedding week! Since we’ll have the wedding house for the entire week, we’d love to spend more time with you than just the wedding day.
