Why two different locations?

Answer

We really wanted to get married and have pictures taken with a beautiful background! Unfortunately, the area is not able to be rented out for the day. We did make sure to choose a venue for the reception that isn’t too inconvenient for people to make it to.

Adult only reception?

Answer

While we love all the little ones in your lives, we ask the reception be adult only.

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is semi-formal. As it will be June, we suggest lighter clothes as well as possibly a change of more comfortable clothes for the evening.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors rain or shine. If something changes with the weather or rain is to be expected, the ceremony will take place at the same location as the reception. We will let everyone know accordingly.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head straight to the location of the reception where we will be serving finger foods and beverages and we will have yard games out for everyone to enjoy for social hour!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

Although we will miss you, we ask that you still simply RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #BecomingBarrington so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
