Co-MOH
Mindy and I have been friends for 20 years and were roommates for 6 of those. She set the standard for bug killing and furniture building during that time and has proven that John has a lot to learn. Mindy is sweet, loves to have a good time and is the most organized human I know. We've been close for so long that my family still expects her to show up for all major holidays.
Best Man
Reichert and I met at the U of I where we were frat bros. He's the guy that plans the fun, brings the fun but still shows up when times aren't that fun. He is the true definition of what you want in a best friend. He's come a long way from freshman year fat Reichert...to now fat shaming me to get in shape by this wedding.
Co-MOH
Jessica and I have been best friends since we met at cheer camp 23 years ago. She's by far the funniest, most outspoken person I know and my life would be much less entertaining without her in it. I can't wait to use my power as bride to make her say nice things about me until the morning of 11/21.
Groomsman
Besides being the common thread that is making this wedding possible, Bscott brings the sly sense of humor and steady eddie friendship. B has come a long way from the freshman year nerd with glasses to the sophomore year tattoo'd hypnotist. Hopefully he tones down his "pretty" so I can shine on my wedding day. *It should be noted that if the bridesmaids weren't so intimidated by his beauty, Brian would be standing on Lindsay's side of the alter.
Bridesmaid
Jenna is the most normal, well adjusted person I've ever known. We met in junior high and became close friends on our high school's dance team. She's simultaneously the strongest (mentally) and weakest (physically) friend I have. She's clever, thoughtful and incredibly go-with-the-flow. I don't know how I'd survive my days without her constant Gchat companionship.
Groomsman
Hans was the first guy I met on campus. He's come a long way from butt cuts, belt whips, and broom vandalism to being Jeff Besos' right hand man. Oh, and that wireless cell phone charger on your nightstand? He invented it. Hopefully he leaves his BTU chatter at home so I can sound intelligent on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Thanks to our pushy mothers, Megan and I met on move in day at LSU in 2003. We quickly realized our assigned roommates wouldn't do and lived together for four of our 4.5 years on campus. Megan was my home away from home when I was in Louisiana and I wouldn't have had nearly as much fun in the bayou without her. She's never met a stranger and makes every road trip, tailgate or random wine night an adventure. Even now, 1,300 miles apart, I couldn't survive without my buddy cop!
Groomsman
Cox has been a staple in my life since the early frat days of summer jobs, cross country road trips and making the laps at Station. He's come a long way from puka shells and polos to now being a father of two rocking the PFG and panty dropper sunglass straps on his boat in Florida. Here's to hoping he doesn't wear lifts in New Orleans so I'm not the shortest guy at my own wedding.
Officiant
Faith is someone we both very much look up to. She's full of great advice, awesome stories and worldly wisdom. We can't wait for her to be a part of our special day!
