We were watching a video about Dave Ramsey in our dollars and sense class, and John leaned over, and asked me what he had said in the video, and I thought to myself. "Wow, this idiot isn't paying attention." After the video he said, "hey, thanks, I'm hard-of-hearing," and I felt like an asshole! The following day, he saw that I was drawing during downtime in class, and he leaned over yet again and said, "hey, nice drawing," and I thought to myself. "Wow, what a creep." Then we had a really nice conversation, and then I felt like an asshole!! The following semester, we were in a different class together that was replacing dollars and sense, and I was looking for John because I saved him a seat because we had become decent friends. When I saw him, I couldn't remember his name, so I just said, "Hey! You! I saved you a seat." And whenever he came to sit down, I was hoping the teacher would call roll and I would get his name. She did not. At the end of the class, I was like, "hey, this is probably really dumb considering we've been talking and hanging out for the entire period, but what's your name?" He told me his name and we laughed about it........ And then I felt like an asshole!!! We got together the following year technically on Halloween night, but made it official on November 2nd, and the rest is history! I truly could not have found a better man to spend the rest of my life with. He is amazing and funny and so kind and considerate about my feelings and always brings me into the conversation whenever it involves our future. I love him so much.
