For the whole week, he kept reminding me not to plan anything for the upcoming Saturday, for a surprise date planned at Mont-Tremblant. I didn't ask many questions because I knew that he can't lie to me, and I didn't want to ruin the surprise. He woke me up at 8 a.m. to tell me to get ready for the date. When we arrived at Mont-Tremblant Village, he said we had to stroll around for 3 hours! During the entire time, he didn't say much, as if something was bothering him. Then, he drove us to our destination, and my frustration melted away as soon as I saw the beautiful mountains of Mont-Tremblant and the lovely private cabines. Next, he put a blindfold on me and revealed himself standing at the end of trail lined with roses. He gave a beautiful speech, but I was too shocked to catch anything he said. Then, I saw the ring.

I tried to propose 3 times. The first time was supposed to be in Vancouver I've reserved everything, but unfortunately all was canceled because she was going through her residency. The second one was with her friends in Toronto. It was so unprepared and the weather didn't agree with us. For the third time, I realize that it does not matter where and when. As long as you love the person you're with, everywhere is perfect. And it was indeed perfect.
