• Salem is world-famous for its Halloween celebrations. Check out a ghost tour, visit the Witch Museum, or shop for magical souvenirs. We visited in October early on in our relationship and had a blast. • Visit the Peabody Essex Museum for art and local history.
• Newburyport offers a quaint New England coastal experience. Stroll along the Merrimack River waterfront and enjoy the local shops, art galleries, and cafes in the historic downtown area. • Nearby Maudslay State Park is a nice spot to see fall colors and historic gardens.
