One of our favorite date spots. Fantastic food and an activity, all in one. Our Order: Spicy Bulgogi and Soy Sauce Galbi Jumulluck - cooked at the table, of course - with a bottle of lychee soju.
Shuga's
A Colorado Springs classic! Shuga's is a very cozy, homey, and yet unique restaurant that perfectly embodies the comfort of this city. They are famous for their Thai coconut shrimp soup and bruschetta boards. We recommend the roasted grape (yes, roasted grape) and mascarpone bruschetta or an almond cake with a decaf coffee. Yum!
O’Malley’s Steak Pub
O'Malley's is beloved in Monument and Palmer Lake! It has been around since 1986 and has the best buffalo wings around (in our opinion).
Stellina Pizza Cafe
An absolutely fantastic Italian restaurant that prides itself on fresh flavors, fresh ingredients, and fresh pasta. We cannot recommend this one enough! Johnathan's favorite: Dar Poeta Pizza and a glass of red wine Tess' favorite: Warm caprese with focaccia and a Stellina spritz
Building Three Coffee
Tess' personal favorite coffee shop in all of Colorado Springs. They offer house roasted coffee and house made syrups, pastries, and bowls (many of them gluten-free!) Johnathan's favorite: A Summit bowl with extra steak Tess' favorite: An iced strawberry matcha and breakfast sandwich (sub the cream cheese for sriracha mayo)
Wesley Owens Coffee & Cafe
A cute coffee shop in Monument, CO owned by a couple from the UK! It has delicious pastries, coffees, teas, and savory breakfast items. Johnathan's favorite: a Scotch egg and a black coffee Tess' favorite: a scone with a pistachio latte
RoadHouse Cinemas
If you want to catch a movie, have some quiet time, or cool off indoors (we get it), this is our favorite place to do so! It is a dine-in theater with the comfiest love-seats. Johnathan's favorite: Nacho Libre and a Diet Dr.Pepper Tess' favorite: Classic popcorn and a Coca-Cola Icee
