The number one, day one, bestie. Johanna and Steph met in kindergarten and have been friends ever since. They share endless memories, a passion for fitness, a love of animals, and a thousand inside jokes. Steph is a trained athletic therapist, a former nationally ranked tae-kwon-do athlete, and mostly, a ray of absolute sunshine.
Natalie Thiessen

Natalie is Johanna's other long-term best friend. She is known as the one who always shows up, and is always game for a last minute adventure. She is a voice of reason who gives fantastic advice, has an unmatched sense of humor, and is a published coloring book artist and graphic designer.
Shay Anderson
Bridesmaid
The sister from another mister (try not to let the last name confuse you!). Shay and Johanna met when Adrian brought her to meet his family and she was soon part of the family as well. They share a love of dogs, of sandy beaches in tropical places, and of cold drinks at poolside bars. Shay is a pediatric ICU nurse, but she moonlights as the next Martha Stewart... and is a genius of interior design.
Cass Johnston
Best Man
Cass and John met in Gimli when they were 8 (where John decided without hesitation) that they were best friends. Their stories from way back are tales of two little terrors; from getting their assess whopped, accidentally lighting things on fire and wild parties. Cass is known for his incredible voice, and is an (amazing) dad and music artist.
Adrian Theroux
Groomsman
John met Adrian when he (finally) got the nerve to meet Johanna's family. With John's big personality (and Adrian's bigger muscles) they took a bit to warm up to each other but eventually became family. Adrian and John share a mutual love of hilarious (and inappropriate) internet memes and he is definitely your go-to guy for random animal facts. He is also a strength and fitness coach (and definitely looks like it)!
Josh Henkel
Groomsman
John and Josh met in grade 8 where they became friends over endless hours of playing Diablo 2. Growing up, they spent the weekends at Josh's cabin, where John (almost always) ended up breaking something expensive. Josh is definitely the calm, quiet, level-headed friend, and reigning cribbage champion.
