Our Story
Circa 2019, when Emily was a fourth-year vet student committed to a job in Idaho and Johnathan was working in Nashville, their paths crossed at a Randy Rogers concert at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA.
Over the next several years, their respective jobs took them all over the country, but they casually kept in touch (mostly Johnathan asking Emily questions about cattle health and hunting locations in the Pacific Northwest).
Summer of 2024, Johnathan invited Emily to come to Texas for a concert. Emily not only fell in love with Texas BBQ & ranch waters, but also fell in love with Johnathan.
Countless trips were made between DFW and ATL. Many concerts and rodeos, a few road trips and team roping jackpots, some time in the deer blind, and a lot of time analyzing cattle...
August 20th, 2025 during a trip to Big Bend National Park, Johnathan proposed... and Emily ugly cried.
We are so excited to continue this journey together, and we can't wait to celebrate with y'all!
