Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family walking us down the aisle:

AV Satran

Maid of Honor

My soul sister. We met our freshman year of college and we bonded during preseason over instant coffee, chamomile tea, and Lana Del Rey. I'm pretty sure all of my crazy nights in college AV and I were together in some way, shape, or form. I could probably write a whole book on the incredible memories we share in college, traveling to Paris, and now growing our families. I'm so blessed to have her by my side and couldn't ask for a better Maid of Honor and best friend in my life.

James Craven

Best Man

My brother and best friend for life. The amount of hugs and punches we’ve exchanged are immeasurable, but life wouldn’t have been as fun without him. He is the funniest, most charismatic and charming man you could ever meet. I miss the days of us hanging out in the house, playing video games and horsing around carefree of life. James has been such a monumental inspiration in my life, on a special day like this, I couldn’t imagine having anyone else as my best man. He’ll always be my first round draft pick, the one I trust the most. Just PLEASE, do not play anything remotely competitive with him. He’s what we call in the business a “toxic player”. He’s just a sore winner, that’s all.

Tyra Watson

Bridesmaid

I met Tyra working at Buckle in Iowa. I was drawn to her because she had an impeccable fashion sense and had an incredible sense of humor. We spent all our time laughing, working, and talking about the life; she is the reason I loved living in Iowa. I mean we have so many fun memories back in Iowa from our first stand up comedy show to Cinco de Mayo on the rooftop. She has been one of my most supportive people in my life and I cannot wait to have her with me on our special day!

Eric Parsons

Groomsman

Eric is the kind of guy that you hear is doing something new and outrageous you think “yeah that sounds like something Eric would do”. Eric is the most down to Earth, easy going guy, that always ends up in such weird situations you’ll think “how can a guy so calm and collected end up doing ______” or “end up having _______ happen to him”. Since 4th grade, we’ve always been best friends, and even after us going completely separate ways, we’ve always found time to meet up and pick back up right where we left off. Just don’t ever ask James how much Eric still owes him.

Bree Romero

Bridesmaid

Bree and I first came to be friends through soccer growing up. We had so many road trips together and even overnight stays for all our soccer tournaments. She was always such an incredible friend and was always there if I needed her. Bree is the one who could make anyone laugh and smile. Bree is the most incredible mother, wife, sister, and friend anyone could ask for. Bree is the kind of person you look up to because of the love she creates around her. She can light up any room and I cannot wait to have this beautiful person with me on my special day!

Chance Allen

Groomsman

Chance and I met during an after school workout with a discussion over video games, good food, and would you rathers. Chance was the new o-lineman in town, and man was he such a joy to be around. We quickly evolved into reckless turds in high school, with giant house parties and late night house eggings hot on the mind. After I transferred to Lamar University, Chance called me up and decided to transfer there as well, to which we became roommates. Since then, we’ve gone our separate ways in life, but the friendship hasn’t changed and he’s still one of my best friends. Legend has it that Chance and Joe still haven’t figured out how to play a peaceful madden game against each other.

Britt Travis

Bridesmaid

Brit and I magically came together here in Minneapolis. We originally met because John and one of his co-workers thought we would hit it off. The second I met Britt we immediately clicked. It was one of those instances where we had so much in common right off that bat it was actually kind of weird. Like I'm telling you, it was like we were friends our whole lives and didn't know it! However, since being here in Minneapolis, she is the one friend I talk to about anything, and she's there to listen. We bonded over wine, music, and deep conversations. Britt is one person I cannot imagine not having by my side on my wedding day.

Joe Villareal

Groomsman

My baby boy! Joe has been a day one since high school, and even though I gave him a concussion and he forgot a few things, he never forgot how much he loves me. Joe has always been there to meet up with me when I was home from college, and afterwards, he became someone who I always wanted to see when I was in Houston. Fast forward to today, Joe is my right hand man, my partner in crime, and I can’t plan anything without figuring out how to involve Joe. I love this man with all my heart, and I knew that the day he bent his knee to me that he was ready to follow me into any battle.

Tianna Jefferson

Bridesmaid

Tianna was my absolute best friend in middle and high school. We were inseparable. I remember spending all my weekends with her. She was always there for me in high school and everything we were going thorough. She was my sister. Her family welcomed me and I wouldn't be where I am today without her in my life. I couldn't imagine not having her by my side on my wedding day.

Jordan Jones

Groomsman

Jordan and I met in such an interesting way, that the most appropriate way to describe our common interest is through apples. I had heard through the grape vine that Jordan was an apple connoisseur, as I was at the time (currently, apples upset my stomach). So after practice, I approached Jordan and said “Hey, I heard you like apples” where Jordan replied with “Yeah, how you know?”, to which I said “Hey, how about you just come by my place later tonight, I have a few Granny Smiths I got from Northern California that are quite delectable”. And thus, our friendship was born. Nowadays, Jordan visits Minneapolis from time to time where we catch up and run the Midwestern bars until the nights are over. A great friend and always down for a good time.

Ashely Marra

Bridesmaid

I originally met Ashely at ODP for soccer. These were the days we wore 10987109287341 bobby pins in our hair and had to walk to the fields with cones on our heads. Eventually Ashely and I were on the same club team and we stayed on that team throughout high school. We took so many trips to Cali, Colorado, and even across the country. Ash was always there even throughout college. She was always someone who would support you from afar and no matter what, have something to laugh about. I'm so glad Ashely is standing by my side during one of my most special days.

Cole Carleton

Groomsman

Our head coach freshman year at Lamar University would always ask freshman to sing their alma mater. And one day, he picked the best guy to sing. He picked Cole Carleton, who explained he didn’t know his, but sang “Baby Got Back” By Sir Mix-A-Lot. The whole team room exploded with laughter, and I instantly knew I need to be friends with that guy. And thus, during a drunken mixup of punching holes in the Tequila Rock bathroom walls, our friendship was forged. Cole had morphed from my teammate to roommate, and eventual coworker, where Cole had helped me start at the company I still work for today. I can’t thank this man enough for stepping into my life, and I’m just happy to call him a best friend. Just don’t challenge him to a 1 on 1 wrestling match, he just takes those too seriously.

Tyler Messinger

Groomsman

Man where do I start, Tyler is my longest running friend, as we met first in 2003 in elementary school. Our love for pick-up basketball games and after school shenanigans had us bonded at the hip early on, and we never looked back. The multiple nights of Ghost in the Graveyard and PC LAN parties that evolved to our 2 AM hangouts with a cold beer was our vibe. But, Tyler is the kind of person you hear first, then see. You would hear his RAM pickup, 5.0 mustang, Boss 302, hell now the Roush first and then see Tyler pop out. But his cars albeit loud, are the opposite of Tyler’s day to day personality of chill and relaxed. And that’s why no matter what the day, however long the last time we talked, we pick right back up like we never dropped off.
