Question

Passport?

Answer

If not a Canadian citizen, then yes. This includes any infants and newborns too.

Question

Kids?

Answer

On wedding day, kids are welcome to the ceremony but the reception will be adults only. Kids welcome to Friday welcome drinks and Sunday brunch. If you have specific questions or want to inquire about potential nanny services, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Question

Dress Code?

Answer

Dress code for the reception is black tie optional. As the reception is two hours after the ceremony, if you wish to wear your Sunday's Best to the ceremony and then change for the reception that is welcomed! What is black tie optional mean for men? If not a tuxedo, then please wear a dark suit and tie.

Question

There are two hours between Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

While we would have loved to have had the ceremony and reception back to back, it was simply not possible. So please feel free to use that time as you like. Feel free to explore Yorkville and Toronto. Feel free to take a nap. Feel free to change from Sunday's Best to Black Tie Optional. If people would like to organize an activity, please have at it! The wedding party will be taking photos during this time. The one thing we ask that you do not do is over-serve yourself or others in those two hours. Why? Well for starters, it's an open bar at the reception, so you're wasting money that you could be investing in bitcoin. And one of us speaking from experience, we don't want to have to ask you to leave our wedding early for being that guy or girl.

Question

Reception After Party?

Answer

While there is nothing official, there are plenty of options in the Yorkville area depending on what you're looking for. The Oxley Public House as well as Proof Bar close at 2am on Saturday night.

Question

Where are the bride and groom staying?

Answer

The groom will be staying at the InterContinental on Friday night, switching over to The Four Seasons on Saturday night. The bride will be staying at The Four Seasons on Friday and Saturday.

Question

Weather?

Answer

The same weekend in 2017 saw average highs of 71 F and lows of 60 F. We're hoping for the same! Please though do check weather before arriving. The sun will set at 6:50pm

Question

Holiday Weekend

Answer

The weekend of October 6 is Columbus Day in the US and Canadian Thanksgiving in Canada. Meaning that Monday is a holiday. If you wish to stay Sunday night, the InterContinental preferred rate extends through Sunday night. Additionally, there is wine and cottage country only a few hours outside of Toronto if you wish to venture.

Question

Gifts?

Answer

While welcomed with open arms (see Registry tab) and cash remains king, we're just happy to have you be part of the celebration in Toronto with us.
