Though John and Tracy met online on Bumble in December 2019, they didn’t have their first date until June 6th, 2020. Said date involved John biking across Baltimore City, through a protest, to meet Tracy at a public park, as she was initially nervous to meet an ‘online stranger’. Needless to say, the pair didn’t stay strangers for long, and immediately hit it off. After an afternoon of endless, easy chatting and a casual taco dinner, the two parted ways with promises of seeing each other soon. The next day, John invited Tracy out for a coffee, and asked if they could begin seeing each other exclusively; Tracy was awed by John’s candor. From there, the pair fell in love, and began their adventure together. Over the years, John and Tracy have grown as a couple, and as individuals. Their love has spanned three states (MD, VA, NC), two degrees (John’s RN and BSN), one loud rescue cat (Linda), and more moves than they care to recall.When not working, John and Tracy can be found jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, working in their garden, getting tattooed, cooking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
