Teresa and John were introduced by a mutual friend, Molly, when she was visiting NYC at a West Village bar in 2019. John moved off to London for a few months for work, and when he came back he drew up the courage to ask Teresa on a first date. The first date was in January 2020, and they each left for their “1 week” COVID isolation trips on March 16, 2020. John going back to KC and Teresa heading to CT, they continued virtually dating. Returning 3 months later to a closed and quiet NYC, their dating adventure continued - NYC Food Tours, bike rides, weekend trips, and apartment dance parties with friends. Later that year in December 2020, John got to know Peg and Carlos very well as the couple spent 3 months in Culebra snorkeling, cooking, kayaking, and falling in love! They returned back to NYC and moved to the UWS, loving life together in Manhattan. The best part of the story is that John and Teresa picked up their puppy, Chili, in February 2022. John proposed in the Upper West Side in April 2023, followed by a surprise, romantic trip to Montreal. The rest is history!

We share our love for family! We’ve spent much time traveling to visit family in Kansas City, Denver, California, Minnesota, and Puerto Rico. John is 1 of 5 siblings with 6 nieces and nephews, and Teresa is 1 of 4 siblings with 4 nieces! We love to travel and vacation with friends, family and each other. Some of our favorite trips have been to Italy, Greece, Caribbean, Mexico, Montreal, Charleston and the Hamptons! We love Manhattan, and spend most of our time as foodies eating great food and drinking fabulous cocktails or wine at the best restaurants in NYC.

We have chosen to have a small, intimate wedding so we can cherish our time with our family and closest friends. Thank you for making the trip to celebrate our wedding in New York City!
