Late 2018 - Corepower Yoga in Torrance (IYKYK). Steven made the first move when John wore his "Break Up With Him" sweatshirt from "The Read" podcast. Then, John mentioned he was working on his doctorate while Steven had just started nursing school, so they exchanged numbers and became study buddies. A shared passion for yoga and a drive to get educated brought them together, but that was only the beginning. Things became official a few months later on Valentine's Day (2/14/2019) - a CPY evening yoga class, followed by ramen, and their first kiss. And the rest is history!
