We had been working together for quite some time, but were only acquaintances until... One Saturday night in March, Sivine decided to wander downtown to grab a drink and bump into the usual suspects on Congress. After running into a friend and chatting for awhile, Sivine wandered down Herbert Alley to head home. As soon as she turned the corner, she spotted a familiar face. John smiled. Sivine smiled back. John had never seen Sivine smile before and it was like meeting her for the first time. We flirted and scheduled our first date. That went very well, so we decided to introduce our hounds to each other. As soon as our dogs met, we saw our future unfolding seamlessly. We've traveled, raced, attempted to fix a washing machine, cried, laughed, and ultimately fell together. All in love.
Our favorite day of the year is All Hallows' Eve so we wanted to marry the two and make it our wedding date. Unfortunately, this year it fell smack in the middle of the week. We wanted a weekend date so it could be convenient for our guests and us to attend. Although we are a pretty traditional couple when it comes to our relationship ideals, we are untraditional when it comes to how we wanted to celebrate our wedding. We chose to have a private ceremony, just the two of us, on Halloween night so we can celebrate our marriage year after year on our favorite holiday. We wanted our guests to still feel the spirit of Halloween in the air and throw our big day prior. Come join us to celebrate love and the dead!
