We are so grateful that God has brought us together and helped us in our relationship along with the support of our families and friends. Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for our marriage. We hope to see you all in Houston on our special day!

To all those friends, married cousins, and random relationship advisors who said that we'd meet THE ONE at the most unexpected time of our lives...YOU WERE ALL RIGHT! Our story is simply another testament to that notion. In the year of 2020 amidst the rise of the Covid crisis and all hell breaking loose, you and/or anyone would think "Where is the time to date?" or even "Where would we date?" LOL! This is where Dil Mil played a great role in our lives. Both of us were on the app with very low expectations of finding someone. We felt as though a few matches here and there was good enough to know that we were actually trying, not thinking that anything could come out of it. Then, on the 20th of May 2020, we matched! At first, it seemed to be like the regular matches--the "hey, how's your day going" or "what do you like to do" type of shallow conversations. However, slowly we began to realize it was becoming much more than that. Our Dil Mil conversations started to get longer and deeper as the days passed. We exchanged numbers and continued to talk via text. Soon after, texts turned into phone calls and phone calls turned into video chats. We both had a mutual understanding of what we had and wanted to take the next step forward. A few months later, we decided to meet in New York (where Sheena is from) and we've never looked back since! Here we are almost two years later ready to spend the rest of our lives together :)
