John and Shannon first met on November 3, 2023 at an Inspire Young Adult Ministry meeting. Their story really begins in January of 2024 when John slid into Shannon's instagram dms and asked her to go to mass or adoration sometime. At first Shannon wasn't really sure how she was feeling about that but after a few days went by she randomly texted him on a Sunday asking if he was going to the 6:30pm mass. He said yes and we decided to meet there. Shannon later found out that he had already been in his pajamas when she texted him. That first date was hours long and the second was not much different. That second date landed us at the State Line Diner (if you know you know). So much has happened since then. Those first few dates in January of 2024 feel like yesterday and a lifetime ago all at the same time. Winter can often seem like such a dark time, but Winter 2024 brought a lot of light into both of our lives. We are so excited to be entering into the next chapter of our lives together and can't wait to celebrate this beautiful sacrament with you all!
