For the welcome party, it's more casual - wear whatever makes you feel fun and festive! For Saturday, semi-formal/cocktail attire is suggested. Please keep in mind that rain or shine, the wedding will be held outside on soft grass. Shoes that are easy to walk in are a must! A light layer is also recommended for when the sun goes down (although we hope you work up a sweat dancing).
We will have one large tent on the property to host the reception. Hopefully the weather gods will smile down on us, but in the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved from the front lawn to under the reception tent. There will be heaters as well if it is unseasonably cold.
We encourage locals and anyone who is not staying nearby in the village of Matunuck to please use Uber or friendshare. However, if you are driving, there is ample street parking around the house (don't worry, the neighbors have been warned). Please do not park directly in the front of the house. We would like to keep it clear for vendors and for pictures.
To stay on budget, our wedding is strictly RSVP, and we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please check your invite for plus one details.
While we do have a room block available at the Fairfield Inn & Suites (please see the "Travel" tab for more details), there are also many Airbnbs nearby in the village of Matunuck. However, because it is a seaside vacation destination, we highly encourage you to book as early as possible. There are great homes available for larger parties, as well!
