We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met in Washington, DC in the Fall of 2018. Sarah arrived from sunny Arizona, fresh after finishing her doctoral work in Archaeology, for what was supposed to be a simple three month post-doc at the beautiful Dumbarton Oaks in Georgetown. John showed Sarah around the city to try the best coffee shops, enjoy DC's rich culture and soon after Sarah was even joining John in Richmond for their family's famous Thanksgiving celebration and competed well in all of the family games ranging from racquet sports to cards. After meeting Sarah, John's family also fell for the lovely Canadian. John reciprocated, and has enjoyed spending the Holidays with Sarah's family in Peterborough, Ontario just outside of Toronto. Sarah's family has shared some great Canadian traditions including (Canadian) Thanksgiving, Ninaimo Bars, and competitive card games. We have had an amazing three years together and look forward to sharing adventures and good times with all of our amazing family and friends.
