Question

I didn't RSVP by April 18th! Did I miss the cut-off?

Answer

Nope! We extended our RSVP date to May 1st, so don't stress! Please RSVP as soon as you're able and no later than May 1st. Without an RSVP received by the deadline, we will sadly not be able to accommodate you at our wedding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional/Formal. You may be wondering - well what does that actually mean?! Don't fret, we did the research for you! Black tie optional means that it's your chance to really show up and show out if that's what you want to do - think tuxedos and bowties, floor length gowns and full glam! If that sounds a little too formal for your liking, no worries! Suits in dark colors (black, dark gray, navy) work great too, as do mid-calf dresses and jumpsuits in formal fabrics. https://www.vogue.com/slideshow/dear-alex-black-tie-optional-wedding-dress-code https://www.vogue.com/article/black-tie-dress-code

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both the Ravel Hotel and the SpringHill Suites have parking available for a fee.

Question

Is there a cutoff date for the room block at the venue?

Answer

YES, there are cutoff dates for both room blocks! The cutoff date to book rooms at the Ravel Hotel (the venue) is Friday, April 25th. Afterwards, you will need to contact Julissa at Ravel directly to reserve a room. Please see the Travel page of the website for more details. The cutoff date to book rooms at the SpringHill Suites is Wednesday, May 7th.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1, 2025. (Yes, our invitation said April. We’re encouraging earlier RSVPs because of certain people - You know you who are!).

Question

I don't need to pick a meal option?

Answer

Nope! Our venue provides duet entrée meals, so you'll get both proteins for your dinner! However, if you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or need a specific meal (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or children's meals), please just let us know when you RSVP!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, while we'd love to see you all the entire weekend, we will only be hosting the wedding on Saturday June 7th. Please feel free to explore the city! We recommend catching a Broadway show ("Oh, Mary!" is supposed to be incredible), getting a great dinner (some of our faves are Mission Ceviche, Upland, Charlie Bird, Crown Shy, Il Buco, L'Artusi, Blue Ribbon, and Sixty-Three Clinton), or checking out some cool bars (Mace, Katana Kitten, Overstory, Happiest Hour, The Penrose).
