FAQs

Question

Can I get more information about Big Lagoon State Park and how to get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Check out the website here: https://www.floridastateparks.org/biglagoon

Question

What should I wear … Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our venue is an outdoor covered amphitheater and pavilion in August, so while the bride, groom, and some of the wedding party are going to be dressed a little “fancy,” we encourage you to dress for your comfort, walking on the short wooden walkway, and maybe a little dancing after lunch at the Governor’s Pavilion. Summer dresses, button downs, khakis, or shorts — it makes no difference to us.

Question

What should I expect for the weather?

Answer

Based on our multiple trips to the park and area, we are expecting a slight breeze and summer moderate temperature.
