One of the oldest roadside tourist attractions in the United States! It's a beautiful botanical garden with a flock of flamingos.
Great beach for adventuring! Note that it is a state park and you will have to pay for entry - worth it!
It's a little out of the way, but this is our favorite beach. We always park at the south end near the pier!
Our favorite waterfront walk! If you're lucky, you might spy a dolphin along the seawall.
We met here many moons ago during their annual fundraiser called Tweed Ride. It's the world's largest shuffleboard facility!
A gorgeous waterfront park. We spent a lot of time here during quarantine, reading in the sun - even just a drive by is worth it!
You gotta do it for the bit.
A GREAT thrift store both John & Rita love - you're guaranteed to find something fun!
Another great thrift store!
Rita's favorite coffee shop! She worked here for a few months during grad school ◡̈ They serve a full breakfast and lunch menu during the day, and you can catch Small Bar (a sneaky little wine bar) on the weekends.
A wonderful bakery with croissants and other delicious treats located inside the Museum of Fine Arts!
This is our pick for a casual brunch or lunch. Be sure to walk around downtown Gulfport - there are a bunch of cute shops + places to eat and drink!
Our rec for a great dinner - we've spent many a date night here!

A cutie little sake bar inside an old St. Pete bungalow!
Great spot for live music. Smoking inside, you'll have to wash your hair after spending an evening here.
Iconic Italian market in St. Pete. They are closed Sundays, but try to check them out if you can! They have an incredible deli with delish sandwiches.
Rita's old apartment was by this St. Pete icon - solid burger spot with cheap beer and lots of Tampa Bay sports memorabilia.
Another St. Pete icon.
If you've never had a Pub sub... you have to do it. Get the chicken tenders!
Another St. Pete icon - with a sneaky little speakeasy in the back! Get the pollo plato or the Cuban (hold the pickles) if you want to copy our usual order.
One of Rita's favorite bookstores in St. Pete! We took our engagement pics in their courtyard + inside the shop ◡̈
It's a wine store with books, or a bookstore with wine - and coffee too!
