Parking is VERY limited at our residence, even on a normal day. We are reserving spaces in front of the house for our parents, but we can't guarantee anything else. There is some street parking further down the street, or in adjacent courts. However, we do recommend parking at Copley Parish, which is a short walk to the house.
We are going to constantly monitor the situation in regards to covid and the delta variant, and any updates will be here as well as on social media. As of September 8th, these are our current rules and steps we're taking. We are having a scaled down guest list, and we will be very upfront if we have to scale it down more. Also, if you feel like you can't make it for whatever reason, even if it's last minute, please let us know. We totally understand! Currently, a couple of our guests are out of state. This includes West Virginia and Pennsylvania at this time. We are always monitoring the situation in other states. There will be hand sanitizer available in high touch areas, as well as cleansing wipes. This includes the bathroom and kitchen. We will be providing disposable masks for anyone who needs one. We will ask guests 2 health questions in regards to covid prior to the wedding.
As this is a casual, scaled back, backyard wedding, we are not expecting anyone to wear gowns. We want our guests to dress comfortably, but please remember this is a wedding. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Rea. As this is a November wedding, please make sure to pay attention to the weather. The majority of the event will be outside, so it may be cold. We will have a place for jackets if you want to check them. While we are going to have some rugs for the tables and seating, there is still the possibility you will have to walk on grass. There are two dogs and three cats at this house, so if you are worried about an important garment getting fur on it, please be aware of this. You can wear white if you want to.
At this time we don't have a full menu available, but we will update with information as soon as we can. However, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can make sure you have something to eat!
Yes! There will be some alcohol available. While we don't know the exact details just yet, we plan on having several different types of drinks and mixes available. We will also have plenty of other sodas, teas, etc. Please make sure that you have a designated driver or a place to say. Uber and lyft are available in our area, but not at all times. There are hotels and motels located locally that are reasonably priced. We can't offer a place to stay at the home at this time, and if we do open this up in the future, it would be very limited.
Yes, we would like to have some dancing! Obviously as both our space and guest list are small, it's not going to be a huge dancefloor, but we are hoping that we can all have a fun time!
Yes! We are going to allow guests to submit song requests before the wedding that we can then add to a spotify playlist!
For the most part, the backyard is acessible, through the garden gate. However, there is a small step to get into the house both in the front and back doors. There is a restroom on the first floor, but it is not large enough for a mobility device. Unfortunately the largest bathroom is located at the top of the stairs. The backyard is relatively flat, with no hills. Please let us know if you need any accommodations such as parking or a quiet area.
