John and I met at Stony Brook Dental School during a Halloween event in 2022. We had seen each other in the halls, but became friends after talking that night. Our friendship continued to grow over the year, even as John prepared to graduate in May 2023. When it was time for him to move back to New England to start working, it became clear the friendship had developed into something more. While I was finishing my last year of dental school, we stayed in touch and would take turns visiting each other. I graduated in May 2024 and then moved to Massachusetts for my residency program. Being closer allowed our relationship to grow until this past December, when John proposed! We are so excited for this next chapter in our story and can't wait to celebrate with you all!
