When is the last day to RSVP?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by Saturday, June 13th so we can provide accurate guest counts to our vendors. Thank you for helping us plan our special day!

What is the dress code?

Our dress code is formal attire—think a step below black tie. Gentlemen, please wear your best suit. Ladies, cocktail or formal dresses are perfect, with a preference for muted tones that complement our wedding palette.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We are excited to celebrate with children as part of our special day. If your little ones are invited, they will appear on your invitation or in the RSVP link. If you don’t see them listed—or need to update your RSVP with additional kiddos—please reach out to us directly.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

To help us manage our guest count, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If we’re able to extend additional plus-ones later, we’ll reach out and let you know—thank you for understanding!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Central Texas in August is typically warm and sunny, with daytime highs often in the 90s. Our ceremony and cocktail hour is expected to take place outdoors, so we recommend light, breathable fabrics to stay comfortable. The rest of the celebration will be indoors, where you’ll be able to cool off and enjoy the party!

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

We will not be providing official transportation for guests from hotels or the venue.

Where do we park at The Videre Estate?

Answer

Guests can park at the venue! The Videre Estate has 75 paved parking spots and a lot for overflow parking.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Answer

The Videre Estate is a newer build, so it has stayed true to ADA guidelines and is fully ADA-accessible.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, while the dinner and reception will take place indoors. Guests are welcome to wait in the main hall before heading outside, and cocktail hour will include a covered patio so you can enjoy the shade if you prefer. Once we’re back inside, you’ll be able to cool off and celebrate comfortably for the rest of the evening.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests put their phones away and be fully present during our ceremony. Don’t worry—we’ll have a professional photographer capturing every moment! Once the reception begins, feel free to snap away, and we’d love for you to share your photos with us using the QR codes we’ll provide on the day.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to John and Phoebe's home (112 Will Davis Drive, Apt 1513, Austin, TX 78752).
