I was single and ready to mingle, and I just needed that “Je ne sais quoi” in a woman to lock it in. I met Patience at a free Salsa class through a mutual friend. The instructor of the class did not show up, so it ended up being just the three of us where I just showed them a few Kompa dance moves. The first thing I noticed about Patience was her infectious smile. I could write a whole poem about it and the quirky sounds she makes when she laughs. She was just such an amicable person that I sought out to inquire more about who and where this beautiful chocolate woman came from. We reconnected on Instagram and made plans to see each other because she was new to West Palm Beach. From our first date, I think we both instantaneously felt a spark. We bonded so well that I just knew it was up to me to apply “pressure” and win her over with my charm.
This was back in 2019, i wanted to try some new hobbies. I saw a free salsa class being offered close to where i lived at the time. We had a mutual friend who was attending it as well. She introduced us to each other. Funny thing, the teacher did not show up for the class, and John decided to teach us Kompa dance instead off his bluetooth speaker. Our adventure began when he asked me out on a date a week later..and the rest is history. :)
