(540) 923-4231 The Saturday evening wedding reception and all activities will be held on-site at Graves Mountain Farm & Lodges, an expansive mountain retreat located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. On the other side of the mountain from Graves is James Madison University where we first met, so this part of Virginia is extra special to us! For our block, you cannot book online and must call the number above. We have three lodges and a few houses reserved. The lodges available are Hilltop, Ridgecrest and Poplar. The houses available are Pete's House, Valley View, Redwood #1, Redwood #3 and Dogwood. Before booking, please refer below to help you choose where to book: ☼▲▲▲ John's Family and Family Friends ☞ Hilltop Lodge or any available house Olivia's Family and Family Friends ☞ Ridgecrest Lodge or any available house J&O Friends no kids ☞ Poplar Lodge or any available house J&O Friends with kids ☞ Ridgecrest or Hilltop Lodge or any available house. Poplar is fine too, but the other two lodges have more kid friendly setups. Graves Mountain Lodge has a two-night minimum, so you must reserve both Friday and Saturday night. If you can't make both nights, but still want to stay at Graves, let us know. Additionally, there are hotel options in nearby Culpepper (~30 min away). Meal Information
When you book your lodging, we highly recommend you purchase the weekend meal plan through Graves ($62/person). You'll get three meals as part of the plan - Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, and Sunday breakfast. The kitchen is closed for lunch, but there are delis and restaurants in the surrounding area (check out the Things To Do tab for recs). We will be providing Saturday dinner at the reception.
