Come experience the rustic adventure of the Florida Keys. The vision of our destination wedding was to bring those closest to us from all over the country to a location we love, Islamorada. We wanted our wedding to be more than a formal celebration - so we made it a multi-day experience that we can share together. In our discussions to solicit interest in the location, we were delighted to hear this is a first time to the Keys for several of you! As such, we encourage you to make the most of your travels and take some time to wander. Let us assist you with your travel itinerary! Rent a convertible and head to the southern most point in Key West at mile marker 0. The Overseas Highway is exactly that. One of the most iconic roadways in the US that is truly an experience with blue water as far as the eye can see. The good news is Islamorada is a great place to start your journey and does represent much of the beauty that is the Keys. As you head south, stop in to Anglers and Ales where we had our engagement dinner at Hawks Cay in Duck Key. Another great place to stop, hydrate and grab some BBQ is Porky's Bayside in Marathon. Before you leave Marathon, stop at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Keys, Sombrero Beach. Say hello to the iguanas for us! Take time to enjoy the engineering feat that is the 7 mile bridge that connects the upper and lower keys. On your way to Key West visit some of the countless museums and wildlife preservation centers along the way. We understand that this experience is no small ask. Please know we appreciate the consideration. While we want nothing more than for all of you to participate in our adventure, we do know this is not possible for all. Our wedding is one that is supposed to be joyous and not an effort to over extend those we care dearly for. So please if our experience is slightly too much, we understand and we will celebrate with you soon enough! Please reach out to us if we can help you make this happen!
